Palm Jaggery Wheat Milk Halwa


PALM JAGGERY WHEAT MILK HALWA 



Super yummy halwa made using palm jaggery and Wheat flour. This version is a instant version of karuppati halwa.
This version is very easy and simple, you need palm sugar, Wheat flour milk ,and cornflour.
This halwa was rich and it was pretty easy to make as well. All you need is follow few steps and you will get perfect halwa each time.

Palm Jaggery Wheat Milk Halwa

Ingredients:

1.Palm Sugar - 2.cup
2.Water - ½ cup
3.Wheat flour- ½ cup ( for wheat milk )
4.Corn Flour -  2tbsp
5.Ghee - 2 tbsp or as needed
6.Cashews as needed
7.Cardamom Powder - 1 tsp
8. Seasme seeds - fir Decoration.

Get  these all Ingredients

Instructions:

1.Take wheat flour in a bowl, add water and knead it well. It comes like roti dough.

2. Take a big bowl and put wheat dough and add 4 cup of water. Let dissolve wheat dough into the water. and you will get wheat milk.

3. Take palm jaggery and water in a sauce pan and ,melt gently. Strain it and set aside.

4. Take the wheat milk in a pan. Don't turn on the flame. Add Corn flour and mix well.

5. After that turn on the flame and Keep cooking and mixing till everything starts to thicken.Keep mixing till it gets little more thick.

6. Add jaggery syrup and keep mixing. At a point the mix will get really thick.

7. Add ghee 2 tbsp and keep mixing. At a point the mix will get really thick and the ghee will start to leave oil.

8. Cashews Add this to the halwa and mix well.

9.At one point the oil will come out completely.

10. Now pour this in a greased pan and let it set for 2 to 3 hours.

11.Slice and serve

Take wheat flour in a bowl

Add in water 

Knead well 


Knead it like this 

and set aside.

Into a bowl add 3 cup of water.

Let it wait for 7 or 8 minutes 

The dough come out like this 

Let dissolve the dough into the water.

Let dissolve well 

Doing continuously like this 

Squeeze it that

 
Continously squeeze it

You got wheat milk

And throw it wheat dough

And strain the wheat milk 

Like this 

Take a pan again strian it.

While straining don't turn on the flame.

Strain like this 

Add 2 tbsp corn flour 

Mix it well

Like this 

Take a sauce pan 

Add 2 cup palm jaggery 

Add 1 cup water

melted it down

Bring it to a boil

Let on the flame &mix well

Keep cooking till it thickens

Add Palm jaggery  

Mix it well 

Keep cooking on medium flame

Mix well

Now it has got thick

Add cardamom powder

Mix well

Add 2 tbsp ghee 
Mix well 

You can see the ghee 
has started to come out.
Add more ghee as needed

Add cashews into the halwa


Mix well

Keep cooking till it gets darker in colour
 Keep mixing till the mix starts
 to leave the sides

the ghee has started to come out
Now it is almost done.

Take a pan and greased with ghee

Add cashews for decoration 

Add sesame seeds for decoration 

Now pour halwa in a greased pan

Pour it Like this 

And add little ghee into it

 Spread the ghee into the halwa

let it set for 2 to 3 hours.

Let spoon it into the pan 

Take it out

Like this

Once cooled, cut into cubes
